Masters Level Award Programme-Level 7
This Master’s Level course is designed to enable professionals with the core skill set needed in order to successfully manage relationships and differences in the workplace; whether it is within teams, with customers or other stakeholders.
Participants will explore different dispute resolution strategies like arbitration, mediation and negotiation to determine which method would be best suited to different situations. The course will examine the strategies, tactics and processes of each ADR method while considering the impact and sensitivities of culture, gender and emotions.
The core areas that will be explored during this programme are as follows:
• Understanding conflict and its causes
• Selecting the best ADR method
• Examining the Arbitration process
• Examining the Mediation process
• Examining the Negotiation process
How is this course delivered:
- Fully online study with live classes and recorded sessions.
- Lecturer support outside of class times.
- This course is assessed by coursework and does not have any final exam, thus making it flexible for working professionals to be able to balance work and study time.
Entry Requirements (Any one of the following):
- A first degree in any subject area.
- (Or) 21 years or older and 3 years work experience in the field.
- (Or) Assessment of prior learning.
